Ah Ha! Just as I suspected: Crappy 3G iPhone back.

iLounge gives report on how smudgy and scratch-prone the new 3G iPhone really is. Good job Apple! Duh!

Wouldn't a nice Macbook Pro-like aluminum case-back been great?

I would have paid an extra $30-$40 for a more durable case.
