Keeping your lawn green and GREEN

As with any garden or landscape planning, you must try to be as informed as possible. The options are endless and overwhelming sometimes when you consider all of your possibilities - should i keep a bit swath of grass for kids to play in, or should we plant a bunch of green groundcover to remove the amount of grass we have to water? Then, there is the soil consideration. I just read an article here on the Green Guide website that addresses many of these issues from a couple who moved from the city to the burbs but wanted to make sure their yard as green as possible.
