Fellow readers, this is not new news, but we need to start being activists for our rights, and WAKE UP or we will become the next old Russia and communist nation. I am talking about our freedoms. What happened to freedom of speech? What happened to confidentiality? Now you can't burn a flag, not that one would want to, but come on. We live with the "oh well, it's ok now, so who cares" theory, OR the "oh well, it's not happening to ME, so big deal." PLEASE don't think I have snapped, but our government is turning against us and is doing damage that will last for years to come after the bastard is gone. Our Court system is taking our liberties and freedom away. Molding and changing the laws to fit a specific case. This is factual given the latest case of the therapist in Colorado Springs that is going to jail because she is refusing to turn over her confidential records to the Military Judge regarding a rape case against her client and a cadet and the cases against reporters for not revealing their sources. Times Reporter gives in.
They are creating tax shelters for the rich, and supportive of getting rid of estate taxes, which currently affect only 18800 people leaving over 1.3 million. We'll end up with a bunch of idle rich , and idle poor if they get their way. I can site as many numbers and facts as you want, but it all boils down to the Government wants no responsibility, but total control over us.
The courts are siding with invasion of our privacies and we are being monitored now like never before. Cameras on the street corners. GOD, I SOUND SOOOOOOOOO COLLUSIVE RIGHT NOW. But it is really starting to scare me. What is it going to be like in 10 years? 15? Maybe I am over reacting but maybe not. The more people I talk to about this, all seem to beleive this is happening, especially when you see that Bush is filling these high-ranking positions Bush appoints John Snow who will end up protecting corrupt CEOs.

So right on! That is why I love you so much.
We all need to get involved on some level. The more I get educated about what is going on, I get more scared and wonder how can I help. It's a tough road but we can all do our part by getting behind what we believe in. We need to get back to a point where we treat each other with the same respect we want. Ok, what was I writing about again? Anyway, do your part people!
